Application guide - deposits of Cyanoacrylate adhesives to bond speaker wires

Customers applying controlled shots of instant reactive adhesives such as Cyanoacrylates including blacktack. To replace manual methods such as squeeze bottles, brushes and hypodermic syringes.

Solution to use a TS5623HT hand lever diaphragm valve fed by a TS1215 pressure pot. This system is hand controlled and allows for an operator to apply deposits without mess or material waste. Adhesive flow can be adjusted by increasing or decreasing the air pressure on the tank itself (up to 60 psi) or to use the stroke control on the valve. The pressure pot is 1/2 litre size and takes a 500 gram bottle placed directly inside.

The valve is held like a pen. Once the lever is pressed, adhesive will flow. For viscous gels, we recommend using a smooth flow tapered tip (such as part code TTN20) and for low viscosity adhesives we recommend Teflon tips or Teflon lined tips. These are all suitable for use with CAs. The system also includes fluid lines and caps.
