Application guide - solder paste dispensing automated assembly high speed

Customers applying solder pastes as part of an automated assembly process where accuracy, speed and consistency is required. Motor driven dispense valve system either foot pedal control or linked to a PLC parent machine.

Solution to use a TS5000DMP motor driven auger valve with a TS500R digital valve controller and solder paste is fed under light pressure from a customer supplied syringe barrel. The TS5000DMP uses a precision plastic auger that turns the solder paste into the dispense tip with highest levels of accuracy. The TS5000 Series Rotary Valve is designed specifically to dispense solder paste without clogging and separation. Dot size as small as 0.010� (0.254mm) can be dispensed consistently. The valve is compact and therefore easily positioned above, to the side or below the work piece. These valves can run a high speed repeatable deposits or on continuous flow.
