Use this red straight‑wall piston with the 30cc and 55cc Techcon 700 Series barrels (part numbers 7300LL1NPK and 7550LL1NPK). It is ideal for general‑purpose dispensing, particularly with stringy, tacky or high‑viscosity pastes, where controlled flow and reduced “bouncing” are essential.
Manufactured from durable polyethylene, the piston features a straight‑wall design that maintains even pressure across the fluid surface. As it travels down the barrel, the piston wipes adhesive, paste or liquid from the internal walls, preventing drips, reducing waste and ensuring a clean, consistent dispense.
Correct Piston Use
After filling a syringe barrel, insert the piston and press down on one side first. This allows trapped air to escape and ensures the piston sits directly on the fluid without leaving an air gap.
For bottom‑filling using a barrel‑filling system, the piston is inserted first and will rise automatically as material is fed into the barrel from the tip end.
