An efficient method of transferring greases, epoxies, silicones, solder pastes and other thixotropic materials into a disposable syringe barrel. This barrel loader is supplied with a pneumatic adjustable timed benchtop dispenser to control the operation.
The model 1000-10DR barrel loader is for pre-filled 10oz (310cc/ 310ml or 1/10 gallon size) sealant and silicone cartridges, which are placed inside a sealed container mounted on the stand. The barrel attachment assembly is threaded to accept luer lock barrels. Activating the pneumatic dispenser once connected to the air line causes the material to rise inside the barrel. This method simplifies loading and reduces the possibility of entrapped air in the fluid.
This version uses a rid-driven 310ml feed system for higher viscosity pastes and gels. An air cylinder forces a rod onto the 310ml cartridge and into the syringe barrel.
The 1000-10DR includes pneumatic bench mounted dispenser with 0-100 psi adjustable regulator/ gauge, benchtop cartridge base stand, retainer bracket support, 10oz rod-driven retainer and air cap, five (5) empty 10oz cartridge and plungers, an outlet cap and special barrel attachment assembly. The 10oz (310cc/ml) cartridges are filled with material of choice.
This system can also be used with pre-filled silicone/ sealant/ RTV tubes 310ml (1/10 GAL) size. Special fittings are included to adapt the silicone tube nozzle end and convert to syringe barrel twist-on attachment. The digital dispenser controlling this system allows timed filling to each syringe barrel to eliminate guesswork and improve repeatibility. This system is operated by electric foot switch (supplied).
