Techkit Cartridge Components
For compounds with a volumetric ratio greater than 10 parts per 100. The catalyst and base are separated by an aluminium barrier formed over the mixing head. As the rod is pushed and turned, the foil breaks allowing the 2 parts to be blended and mixed with the head. Once mixed, the rod is simply removed and a dispensing nozzle is attached. It can then be placed into an applicator gun and dispensed.

A ram rod is provided to push the catalyst from the hollow mixing rod into the main cartridge. Once mixed, the rod is simply removed and a dispensing nozzle is attached. It can then be placed into an applicator gun and dispensed.
The Techkit is a compact and simple method of packaging two or three component resin systems into a 2 1/2, 6, 8, 20 ounce or 1/10 gallon cartridge. The kit mechanically separates the base and hardener until they are ready to be used.
An internal mixing head provides a thorough blend for all types of compounds. When the job has been completed, the entire package is disposed of: no clean up or physical contact with the resin. Reliability is increased with accurate compound ratios, complete mixing and proper application techniques.
Operators can mix the kit manually, semi-automatically or automatically using Techkit mixing equipment. The dasher rod is then quickly removed and a nozzle attached, then place into a manual or pneumatic dispensing gun. After application, the nozzle and kit are disposable, reducing labour and production costs.
The Techkit cartridge system mixes a wide range of materials with varying viscosities without mess, waste or contamination. No special storage is required. Each kit is packaged with a printed safety label, shelf life, special instructions, batch code and date of fill. All kits feature a 1/4" NPT threaded outlet to accept a wide range of dispensing nozzles or smaller dispense tips when used with a needle adapter.
