AD900 Series - Natural Polypropylene Syringe Barrel (10cc) - AD910‑N
The Adhesive Dispensing Ltd AD900 Series is our premium line of industrial syringe barrels designed for precision dispensing in both manual and pneumatic systems. Manufactured from high‑density, low‑friction natural polypropylene, these barrels deliver exceptional accuracy, repeatability and smooth material flow across all assembly environments.
All AD900 Series components are silicone‑free and chloride‑free, ensuring full compatibility with sensitive adhesives and preventing contamination during production. Every barrel features a double‑helix luer‑lock connection for secure, leak‑free attachment of dispense tips.
Available in 3cc, 5cc, 10cc, 30cc and 55cc, the AD900 Series supports a wide range of industrial applications from prototyping to high‑volume automated production.

About Adhesive Dispensing Ltd
Adhesive Dispensing Ltd supplies a comprehensive range of precision dispensing equipment for almost all assembly fluids - from thin solvents, primers and activators through to high‑viscosity pastes, sealants, silicones, gels and epoxies. Our solutions support manual applications, prototype builds, automated production cells and high‑speed assembly lines. All components ship directly from stock using tracked courier services.
Industrial Dispensing Syringe Barrels & Pistons - Technical Overview
Adhesive Dispensing Ltd syringe barrels are engineered for high‑performance use with pneumatic dispensing systems and manual syringe guns. Each barrel is moulded with thick walls, wide flanges, and a zero‑draft internal bore, ensuring maximum strength, stability and consistent piston travel under demanding production conditions.
Barrel Design & Performance
-
Thick‑walled construction for high‑pressure applications
-
Wide flanges for secure attachment to air adapter assemblies or manual syringe guns
-
Zero‑draft internal bore (no taper) ensures smooth, unrestricted piston movement
-
High‑density plastics for durability and chemical resistance
-
Luer‑lock tip connection for secure twist‑on attachment under pressure
-
Rated for up to 100 psi (6.9 bar) pneumatic dispensing
These barrels are supplied with every new dispenser and syringe gun we manufacture, and are compatible with a wide range of industrial fluids including pastes, adhesives, solvents, epoxies, RTVs, silicones, PVAs, inks and gels.
Piston Function & Best Practice
Our pistons are designed to maintain a clean, controlled dispensing process:
-
Dual wiping blades remove material from the barrel wall as they travel
-
Prevent drips, drawback, and material bypass
-
Ensure even pressure distribution across the fluid surface
-
Provide a barrier seal to protect liquids inside the barrel
Correct piston insertion:
After filling the barrel, insert the piston and press down on one side first. This allows trapped air to escape and ensures the piston sits directly on the fluid without an air gap.
Bottom‑filling:
When using a barrel‑filling system, the piston is inserted first and will rise automatically as the barrel fills from the tip end.
Additional Protection for Watery Liquids
For low‑viscosity fluids such as cyanoacrylates, we recommend using a filter trap in the airline adapter assembly. This prevents liquid from travelling back into the dispenser and provides an additional safety barrier.
