Our ADV series components are the highest quality dispensing syringe barrels and pistons for use with pneumatic dispensers as well as manual applicators. These parts are silicone and chloride-free. The barrels are made from low friction polypropylene to ensure accuracy, repeatability and productivity. The pistons made from polyethylene. Barrels feature a double helix luer lock for secure twist-on dispense tip attachment. Supplied in sealed packs.
The rounded end design provides an easier flow path to reduce material back pressure. It adds a benefit for less air entrapment when filling. These products are superior performance and premium grade. This universal polyethylene wiper piston is available that seals the material from air, provides a consistent wipe, protects against drawback and reduces fumes. Using a piston is ideal for thick pastes, gels or watery liquids to improve the flow. Maximum operating pressure for all components is 100 psi (6.9bar). These parts ship direct from stock. Pistons ensure that the pressure is evenly spread across the fluid surface to provide consistent dispensing. Wiper seal pistons with dual blades prevent dripping and eliminate material waste by wiping the syringe barrel wall clean as fluid is dispensed. Maximum operating pressure is 100psi (6.9 bar). White wiper pistons are a perfect fit for use with all viscosity fluids or with mechanical devices such as our manual syringe gun to help slow down leakage past the double wiping edges. .

Pistons are made of plastic and have dual blades to wipe the adhesive, paste or liquid from inside the syringe barrel as they move down. The blades also act to stop liquids from going past them as they dispense. Once a syringe has liquid inside, insert the piston and push down on one side. This will allow air to escape and ensures the piston sits directly on the fluid without an air gap. When bottom filling using a barrel filler, the piston is pushed down and moves up as the liquid is fed into the syringe barrel.
