Tip caps provide an air-tight seal onto any luer lock or luer slip syringe barrel. With all luer lock syringes, they twist onto the thread. For all luer slip syringes, they push over the protruding plastic tip and hold on due to the internal cap taper. Tip caps can be used to seal the ends of dispense valves and any other male luer lock fittings.
