The CV629 is a multipurpose dispensing valve designed for high cycling
automated dispensing applications. The internal cartridge seal makes
the CV629 suitable for dispensing solvents, oils, silicones, glues, and
other medium viscosity materials.
Suited to repeat deposits, controlled lines or potting and can be operator controlled or linked to an automated assembly process using a controller.
This valve is designed to apply shots without drips. The valve design is vertical with fluid flow from the side either by syringe, cartridge or fluid line feed (from pressure pot). Always use our black fluid lines or feed tubing when dispensing UV cure adhesives.
The CV629 Valve is a pneumatically
operated valve designed for precision dispensing of liquids, such as solvents, oils, silicones, adhesives, UV adhesives, inks, etc.
The system can be integrated into an automatic dispensing robot or
used as a fixed bench-mounted dispensing valve. Since it has a light weight
design, it can be used hand-held. It is suitable for high cycling, automated
dispensing applications.
The valve is opened by air pressure and closed by a return spring when air pressure
is released. Applying a minimum of 70 psi (5 bar) air pressure to the air inlet will open the valve. Fluid is
supplied to the material inlet through a 1/8 BSPP threaded port.
Shot sizes may be fine tuned by turning the adjustment screw at the top of the valve; hence the CV629 valve
is recommended for applications where micro deposits are required. Shot size and flow rate are controlled by the
tip size, fluid pressure and the duration that the valve is open.
The model TS250 is a suitable controller for the CV629 valve. Maintenance is
straightforward, as the seals are in a easily replaceable
cartridge. All valves are shipped with a luer lock fluid elbow fitting, airline hose with male quick connect, tip cap end seal, selection of dispensing tips and user guide. Valves are supplied with a 1 Year warranty. Do not use this valve for reactive adhesives and fluids such as Cyanoacrylates.
