Description

The JNT411B90 sealant scraper is Boeing Approved, made of quality red Celcon plastic. Designed with two scraping ends that have long tapered angled tips for scraping sealant. Celcon was selected by Boeing to avoid scoring and scratching Alclad surfaces. Celcon is a more chemically resistant plastic when working with solvents.

This scraper measures 9" (228.6mm) long with 3/4" (19.0mm) and 1/4" (6.35mm) wide tips, 7/32" (5.55mm) thickness. The Celcon scraper is used to scrape sealant off areas requiring rework or tidy-up. Such areas include the exterior pressurized fuselage skin: Lap Joints, Butt Joints.

All other areas (i.e. antenna cut-outs, wing to body fairings, around window forgings, etc). For user comfort, the scraper side edges have been smoothed off. A hanging-hole, at the handle end, ensures the scraper can be stored away when not in use. Pricing is for a sealed pack of 10 scrapers.
